  2021年10月16至20日,由中国教育学会外语教学专业委员会主办的第十届小学英语课堂教学观摩活动在湖北宜昌拉开序幕,本次大赛以“以大概念为核心,促进核心素养落实”为主题,来自全国31个地区的老师们在这里同场竞技,为现场的所有同仁和专家们带来了优秀的课例展示。南京外国语学校仙林分校的卢山老师代表江苏省参加了本次全国课例展示,并在此比赛中以完整严谨的教学设计,扎实的专业素养和深刻的文化主题,荣获全国赛课一等奖的殊荣。同时也在第十五届小学英语课堂教学优秀课展评中,荣获一等奖。

  Lu Shan won the first place at the 10th national high-quality lesson competition hold in Hubei province.

  Her class was designed to develop students’ quality of telling Chinese traditional stories in English by exposing them to Chinese culture.

  追根溯源说好中国故事

  ——用英语,分享中国文化

  Telling Chinese stories and their roots——Sharing and spreading Chinese culture in English

  在10月19日的现场赛课展示中,卢山老师选取了译林版牛津英语的故事板块“Chinese Festivals”,以中国节日为主题,引导学生根据已学的相关知识,形成思维导图。卢山老师非常注重学生在课堂中“学”的过程,通过不同的阅读方式,组织学生由浅入深,层层递进,通过感知、探究、讨论等不同的学习模式让孩子们自然习得中国节日以及背后所蕴含的中国文化,真正在课堂上做到了用英语说好中国故事,做到了文化的知根、寻根,“知其然知其所以然”。最后通过“Festival Tree”让孩子们感受中国节日文化的博大精深,增强民族自信心和自豪感。整节课中,卢老师注重语言的自然习得和过程性评价,并且抛砖引玉引导孩子们自然生成了许多精彩又深刻的回答,妙语连珠激起了现场听课老师们的共鸣,也收获了大家的好评和阵阵掌声。

  Miss Lu attached great importance to the process of students’ learning. Through different reading methods, she organized students to read stories step by step. Students, therefore, naturally grasped Chinese festivals and culture behind them via perception, inquiry, and discussion. Ultimately, students could be excellent storytellers in class on the one hand, and successfully explored and discovered the root of Chinese culture on the other.
